Installation Of The Month: October 2022
CONGRATULATIONS TO PAUL AND THE TEAM AT INDIGO ZEST FOR THIS MONTH'S 'INSTALLATION OF THE MONTH'.
The client brief was to give a fresh new look to an existing TV room in the loft and create an immersive cinema experience. IndigoZest worked with Artcoustic and Sinemas to create this Dolby Atmos 9.2.4 system with 4K laser protector and 130" screen, which did not disappoint.

The main highlight of the project was the bar area at the back of the room wired specifically for the customer’s set of DJ decks, to be hooked up to the Dolby Atmos system.
IndigoZest were also able to offer a larger screen and more tiered seating by flipping the room 90 degrees to its previous composition. A false wall was created at one end to deal with the sloped ceiling and in turn, a storage room behind the wall. This made the room longer, allowing more throw distance for the projector and the addition of a 2nd row of seating.
Two Artcoustic QUAD 10” subwoofers (SUB 4) handle the bass with plenty of acoustic headroom, amazingly due to the woven screen, there is zero movement in the fabric even when pushing this system hard. Rear SUB 3s increase headroom, but crucially break the room modes for an incredibly smooth bass response in every seat. The system measured in calibration down below 20Hz, with incredible dynamics.
Artcoustic Evolve 8-4s are positioned within Dolby reference guidelines for the front wide, sides and rears, and the four Architect 4-2s complete this Dolby Atmos 9.2.4 audio system.
Artcoustic were the perfect partner for this project due to the modular design of their loudspeakers. Initial calculations enabled IndigoZest to work with Artcoustic to choose the correct set-up and achieve cinema reference-level performance and the results delivered in this quirky room.
